HOT WEATHER POLICY

When we are blessed with glorious summer weather, our hot weather policy will be followed.

There are many factors that may increase risk of heat stroke/exhaustion so every dog will be carefully monitored.

Walks and visits may be conducted earlier in the day, before the temperatures are highest. We will always do our best to walk in shaded areas with access to a river, take breaks and play less high-energy games such as fetch. These will be replaced with mental stimulation so your dogs are still getting the most out of their time in our care.

There will always be fresh, cold water, fans and cool mats available in the van, and water bowls at your home will be refreshed without fail, as normal.

Your dog's welfare is our top priority; we will always make sure they are happy, healthy and cared for.
